DiveOpsHub Privacy Statement

DiveOpsHub respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement describes how we handle personal data via our website and our service.
1. To whom does this statement apply?
This statement applies to visitors of diveopshub.com and to the (contact persons of) dive schools that are customers of DiveOpsHub. For personal data that dive schools themselves enter into the Service about their own clients, the relevant dive school is the controller; we process that data as a processor (see our Data Processing Agreement).
2. Which data do we process and why?

3. Retention periods
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. We keep account data for as long as the account exists and thereafter for up to 30 days for export, after which deletion follows. Invoice and administrative data we keep in accordance with the statutory (tax) retention obligation of 7 years. Cookie data in accordance with section 6.
4. With whom do we share data?
We only share data with parties that help us provide the Service (processors), such as our payment service provider Mollie and our hosting/server provider Hetzner Online GmbH (data centres in Germany/Finland, within the EEA). We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes. Disclosure to authorities only takes place where we are legally obliged to do so.
5. Transfer outside the EEA
We process data in principle within the European Economic Area. If a transfer outside it takes place, we ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.
6. Cookies
Our website uses only functional cookies. These are necessary for the operation of the site and for logging in. We do not place analytical or tracking cookies and do not use cookies for advertising purposes; no consent is therefore required for this. You can manage cookies via your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You can also withdraw a consent given. Send your request to privacy@diveopshub.com. We respond within the statutory period. If it concerns data that a dive school has entered into the Service, we refer you to the relevant dive school.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access management, back-ups and security updates.
9. Complaint
If you disagree with how we handle your data, please contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
10. Changes
We may amend this privacy statement. The current version is always available on diveopshub.com.
